Help information

All users require registration. Some sections of this wiki are available to the general public.  Other sections (like the Aberfoyle and Ocean View teams) are invited users. Click the MENU in the top right hand corner. Then click on the REGISTER button.

To Create a new page

1. Find the page that you want to put a link on.
2. On this page type your projectname_yourname as the page name
   
3. click submit
4. You can now Change the title add information and so on
   
5. Add the necessary information as before.

To edit a page:

Some pages you do have the permission to edit the information and content.

1. Find the page your looking for in the Index of the wiki (eg. click the Index link in the right side menu)
   
2. To do so click the "Edit" under Page in the right-side tools menu.
3. Make your changes and click on the save button at the bottom of the page.

To add Comments

Every body has the permision to add a comment to any page. Use this to provide information to us on how we can improve the site.

To insert information from MS Word

1. Select your information from MS Word.
2. Copy that information
3. Go to your wiki page
4. Paste using 'Ctrl V' and your work should be there.

To Insert material from another program

1. Select the location to paste new material.
2. Click the attachments link
3. Locate via your file to upload
4. Click submit at the bottom of page.
5. At the top of this page there is a link to edit your main page.
   
   
6. On your page place cursor in the position that you want insert item.
7. Go to insert link drop box and select item to be uploaded.
   
   
8. Then all you may need to do is resize and organise your page.

To add an image to your page in this wiki (and just about any HTML document).

1. After you log in, find your page using the index on the right hand side.
2. Click the 'Attachment' tool to find the image in your file sytem.
3. Either save the image to this page (marking it HIDE so that it does not appear on the bottom of the page) using the drop down menu from the bottom of the edit screen. 
4. OR, copy the URL of the image you just uploaded and paste it into the page using the 'Edit' tools 'Add image' button. Or click the HTML button and add this code in the position you want it.

5. Remember to SAVE your changes.
