Electrical energy is used from most things to work, for example there computer need electrical energy to work. There is many ways that electrical energy is created like static electricity or maybe generated electricity. The most common way our electricity is produced is by fuel cells that some how turn a turbine that moves the generator to conduct electricity. There are many different sorts of fuel used inside a power plant, fossil fuels like coal or gas or fuel cells like hydrogen.

A generator is a machine that can produce electrical current using magnetic forces. A generator consists of a negative and a positive magnet with a copper coil inside the middle. When create motion by spinning the copper tube around in between the negative and positive magnets you create an electrical charge. There are two sorts of electrical charges, negative charge and a positive charge. There are 2 different sorts of charges because it created because of the negative and positive magnets that collect the charge that get created.

Coal is one of the most common fossil fuels that are being used in the process to conduct electrical energy. Coal is moved into a furnace where it is heats up water into steam to move the turbines. The disadvantages of having coal as a main uses for heating up water is that there is heaps of waste that is released into the atmosphere. Another disadvantage is that coal is a fossil fuel and that it is not a regenerating source so it has a chance in the future that it will run out.

Hydrogen is used as a fuel cell used to heat up water to steam at very hight temperatures. Before the hydrogen reaches the furnace it is natural gas, they divided the natural gas from the hydrogen. 90% of the natural gas is CO2 so only 10% hydrogen goes thought to the furnace, the unused CO2 get moved off the site for other uses. The natural gas is then burned to heat up the water into a high temperature heat. The steam continuos moves thought the same process of being heated up by the burnt hydrogen, then passing the spinning turbine that conducts electricity, the steam is cooled down back into cool water to be heated up again.
